The Wellington College & Eagle House Pupil Transport Service
The minibus service for the Michaelmas Term 2011 starts on Tuesday 6th September 2011. The service is used jointly by pupils of both schools, using school minibuses driven by trained drivers who are school employees, are CRB checked and have completed a MIDAS assessment.
- Parents are asked to commit to a term's travel, providing one half term's notice of withdrawal from the scheme, and are asked to commit to full week's of travel, rather than random days.
- Drivers are provided with a contact mobile number that will be made available to parents whose children use the service so that they may call him to inform of any difficulty in getting their child to the pick up point.
- Due to the timings and possible traffic congestion in the mornings, drivers will not be able to wait at the pick up points, beyond the time stated.
- Normal school rules apply once the pupils board the minibuses; the schools reserve the right to ban a pupil from using the service should, in the opinion of the Master (Wellington College pupils) or Headmaster (Eagle House School pupils) his/her behaviour on the bus merit such action.
- Parents are asked to appreciate that the services will be run subject to reasonable demand and that, with due notice, changes may be made. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
- The Transport options available are; Monday to Friday AM inclusive, Monday to Friday PM inclusive and Saturday mornings (limited service available).
