GCSE results

The GCSE results were also hugely encouraging. 61.0% of the results were A* or A grades, the second best set of results on record. Of those, 30.0% were A* grades which is the best ever. Four boys achieved 47 A* grades and no other grades between them; more than ever before. Twenty-two boys got A* and A grades exclusively and another three got at least 10 A* or A grades. All one hundred and thirty-five candidates got at least 5 A* - C grades with one hundred and thirty one candidates getting at least 8 A* - C grades.
