Student Leadership (for head boys and head girls)

A fantastic opportunity for pupil leaders (Years 13)  to meet other head pupils and share ideas on how best to lead the student body they are responsible for. 

This conference will:

  • provide an opportunity for student leaders to share good practice on effective student voice in schools
  • develop student leaders’ skills to enable them to more effectively lead student voices in their schools
  • explore future networking opportunities to enable student leaders to share best practice

The theme this year is Leadership and topics covered with include Leadership, Public Speaking and Legacy.  The day will comprise of three keynotes and four breakout sessions and scenarios for the students to take part in their designated groups.  The sessions are:

Session 1: Scenarios you could face as Head of School – What could you do? What should you do? talking to peer groups, safeguarding, bullying
Session 2: Your legacy and ways of linking with each other and other schools
Session 3: Opportunity to discuss questions raised by attendees
Session 4: Your leadership vision & prepare group presentation

Delegate Fee:  £37.00 per delegate including refreshments at registration, mid morning break, lunch and an opportunity to network with other students over tea and cake after the conference.     Please note the conference is run not for profit.
