Upon the formation of Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, Martin said "Working with my new band has been an extremely rewarding experience on both a musical and personal level, with a positive vibe not unlike the early days of Wishbone Ash." Further Ahead
On Thursday 12th October, there is the Upper Sixth Parents' Conference. The Master will talk to parents in the Theatre at 6.00pm. Parents will then have the opportunity to meet their son's and daughter's set teachers between 6.30pm and 8.00pm but, because some teachers need more time to see all their pupils' parents, some interviews may need to be between 5.30pm and 6.00pm and pupils will advise their parents where this is necessary. Pupils should draw up timetables for their parents after discussion with their teachers. Generally, the evening is meant to provide an opportunity for parents to meet their children's set teachers to discuss work and any outstanding UCAS concerns. Between 7.30pm and 9.00pm there will be a finger buffet supper for those parents and pupils who accepted the invitation, in the boarding House or at an alternative venue which will be advised to you by the Housemaster/Housemistress. Parents should have already received an invite and are asked to reply to Emma Browne if they have not already done so.
