Wellington undoubtedly has the finest golf course of any school in the country. It is cut into the woods and has some truly beautiful but difficult holes. It is accompanied by driving range nets, a pitching area and a putting green, as well as a driving range in spring and summer. The facility is primarily for school use, with a small membership of current parents and Old Wellingtonians.

The standard of Golf at Wellington is of the highest order and the team has won the Independent Schools Championships, as well as winning the Gerald Micklem Cup on numerous occasions in recent years, and reaching the HMC Foursomes Finals regularly.

The level of coaching is also second to none with two professionals assisting on a regular basis. Recreational golf is also popular, and many of our students enjoy these marvellous facilities at the weekend.
