Polo has continued to flourish at Wellington. It has now become an integral part of the sporting year and polo can be taken as a Major sport option all year round. Training takes place up to three times a week in all three terms and the standard has risen considerably as a result of the time and commitment that has been put in.

The polo team has toured Argentina three times in recent years and has benefited hugely from the experience. They now compete regularly in the national competitions to a high standard as well as playing the very best schools in the country. This year alone Wellington are National U16 champions (for the second year running) and our Novice A team won their arena tournament.

The growth in this sport is continuing, with plans to update the Equestrian facilities in the near future and this year the inaugural Wellington College Copenhagen Cup took place. We look forward to more exciting developments next year.
