Visitors' Days
In January 2009 we changed to Visitors' Days (from 'Open Days'). We have a fixed capacity for numbers on these occasions and seek to welcome as many guests as we can. It is wonderful to receive so many visitors to College, but nevertheless it had been disappointing to have postponed, with regret, the visits requested by some families, only to find that other families then fail to take their opportunity to attend on an 'Open Day'.
We therefore issue a more formal invitation, to those who request such, to attend on a Visitors' Day at the earliest and, we hope, the most convenient opportunity. We will ask for this to be more of a commitment and appointment, and for the courtesy of notice if, quite understandably, it proves not possible to attend when arranged.
Each term the school will usually hold two Visitors' Days, and will issue invitations to any family interested in joining Wellington and expressing the wish to attend. This is an opportunity to hear the Master, Dr Anthony Seldon, share his vision for Wellington and be shown around the school.
You are therefore requested to register for a Visitors' Day. An invitation will then be sent to you.
