Crèche Supervisor

Department: Wellington Health and Fitness Club (WCE)

Reports to: Operations Manager

Salary: £7.97 per hour or £8.65 per hour depending on experience

Type of Contract: Permanent part-time

Hours per week: 4 (Friday – 08:45 – 12:45)

Weeks per year: 50

Closing Date: 7th April 2017 at 5pm

Wellington Health and Fitness Club is seeking a kind and enthusiastic team player to work as part of the crèche team to ensure the day to day running of the crèche is of the standard required so that children will be safely cared for.

The ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate warmth and respect for children and a commitment to encourage their interests by giving them suitable opportunities to develop through social, physical and educational play, while their parents participate in leisure activities.

Those with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification will receive £8.65 per hour, and those who are lesser qualified, £7.97 per hour.

Chef de Partie – Hospitality

Department: Catering
Reports to: Head Chef
Salary: £11.28 per hour (£21,996 per annum)
Type of contract: Permanent
Hours per week: 37.5 – 5/7 days per week
Weeks per year: 52

We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated team player to undertake the role of Chef de Partie.

In this busy role, you will be responsible for planning, organising, preparing and cooking food to a 5 star standard throughout the College.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Producing a variety of food menus in different food styles across the day

High level customer service

Maintaining the work area in a clean and tidy manner

Supporting the day to day running of the kitchen and its functions

You must be prepared to take a trade test and possess a NVQ or City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent.  Experience of event catering and substantial experience in a similar role is crucial.

The main kitchen has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with the latest catering technology incorporated throughout.
