Admissions Assistant

Department: Admissions
Reports to: Director of Admissions/Registrar
Salary: £21,000 per annum
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Hours per week: 35
Weeks per year: 52

Our high-profile Admissions Department are currently seeking to appoint an Admissions Assistant.

The Admissions Office is responsible for the recruitment of pupils to meet targets at all points of entry into Wellington College.

As a first point of contact for many of Wellington College’s prospective parents and pupils, the Admissions Assistant is responsible for using their excellent communication skills to build strong and effective relationships and provide a professional and welcoming introduction to the College.

Some evening and weekend work will be required as this is often when the College holds its extremely popular open events. Time off in lieu will be granted for any hours worked in addition to the 35 contracted hours and will be available to take during the College holidays, of which there are 19 weeks per year.

Vacancies within the Domestic Services Department

The Domestic Services Department is essential to the smooth running of the College, ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained safely and to the highest standard. The Department is comprised of Cleaning, Housekeeping, Matron, Laundry and Logistical Services staff members and constantly strives to achieve excellence in its service provision.


Cleaner

Department: Domestic Services
Reports to: Domestics Services Manager
Salary: £8.11 per hour

We often have cleaning opportunities arise within our busy Domestic Services team, full or part-time, permanent and casual, and would welcome applications from any enthusiastic and motivated individuals.

The role will involve the cleaning of various areas of the College site, including classrooms and boarding houses, to a high standard. Strong team working skills and the ability to be adaptable are essential for this role.

Vacancies at Wellington Health and Fitness Club

Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a well-established leisure facility that has approximately 2,800 members as well as accommodating the College’s PE and Sports programme for 1,000+ pupils throughout the academic year. The Club is set within the beautiful grounds of Wellington College and offers fantastic opportunities to improve wellbeing and quality of life.


Recreation Assistant

Department: Wellington Health and Fitness Club
Reports to: Operations Manager
Salary: £16,868 per annum
Type of Contract: Permanent Full-time
Hours per week: 40 on a 4-week rota inc. evenings and weekends
Weeks per year: 52
Closing Date: 1st August 2018 at 12noon

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wellington Health and Fitness Club who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and customer focused Recreation Assistant, who will be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service and the day to day operation of the Club. This will include cleaning, maintenance and area preparation throughout and ensuring safety in the pool area through excellent lifeguard practices. Training will also be provided in other operational areas of the Club such the Café / Bar and Reception.

NPLQ is desirable although consideration will be given to candidates who have a strong swimming ability and are able to pass the course.

The post includes working evening and weekends.
