Salary: £12.27 per hour
Type of Contract:  Fixed Term Contract until 5th September 2019 with the possibility of an extension. Term Time only

AV/Stage Based Technician

Salary: £21000 – £25000 depending on experience

Community Assistant

Our thriving Community Department are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Community Assistant to join the team.

In essence the role of Community Assistant supports the Wellington College community of current students, alumni, parents (present and former), staff (current and former) and other friends and partner organisations. The Assistant will work very closely with the Head of the Wellington Community and report to the Community Manager providing brilliant support for our programme of exciting and innovative opportunities for members of this community to engage with one another whether that be professionally, socially or philanthropically.

Spanish Language Assistant

Our Modern Foreign Languages Department are seeking a Spanish Language Assistant.

The MFL department teaches French, Spanish, German, Mandarin and Russian across years 9-13, preparing pupils for IGCSE, A-Level and IB.  Each language has classroom teachers and language assistants to support students with their oral work. The post-holder will be responsible for giving Spanish oral lessons to pupils from years 10-11 in pairs or individually to help them to prepare for their IGCSE examination.

Our General Services Department are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Sous Chef to lead, train, develop and inspire a team of chefs and porters within our busy kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity in a creative role where you can really flex your talents, with an ability to stay calm under pressure, showing strong leadership skills to motivate the team.

The kitchen is a busy operation offering a food service to 1050 students, 600 staff and visitors to the College including the Lets business out of normal term time. Being part of the General Services Department, the kitchen is responsible for delivering high quality food from scratch as a quality of life service which allows the management and academics of the College to focus on their own specialisms.

Vacancies at Wellington Health and Fitness Club

Wellington Health & Fitness Club is a well-established leisure facility that has approximately 2,800 members as well as accommodating the College’s PE and Sports programme for 1,000+ pupils throughout the academic year. The Club is set within the beautiful grounds of Wellington College and offers fantastic opportunities to improve well-being and quality of life.


Recreation Assistants Full & Part Time Positions available

Department: Wellington Health and Fitness Club
Reports to: Operations Manager
Salary: Full-time: £16,868 per annum based on 40 hpw / Part-time: pro-rated
Type of Contract: Permanent Full-time and Part-time available

Wellington Health and Fitness Club are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and customer focused Recreation Assistants, who will be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service and the day to day operation of the Club. This will include cleaning, maintenance and area preparation throughout and ensuring safety in the pool area through excellent lifeguard practices. Training will also be provided in other operational areas of the Club such the Café / Bar and Reception.

NPLQ is desirable although consideration will also be given to candidates who have a strong swimming ability and are able to pass the course.
