RPS Women Conductors is an internationally award-winning programme of conducting workshops designed specifically to encourage more women to be conductors. This workshop aims to introduce female students to the art and practises of conducting. Participants will experiment with body language and conducting gesture in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

The will be led by conductor Karin Hendrickson, one the few young conductors worldwide nominated for the 2016 Salzburg Festival/Nestle Young Conductors Award. She will be joined by Natalia Luis-Bassa, conductor of the Wellington College Symphony Orchestra, who has worked with orchestras worldwide from the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, to the Southbank Sinfonia and the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
