We are delighted to present a trilogy of parental virtual talks this term which will offer all parents the opportunity to gain support and insight into several very important an current topics. The interactive webinars will be led by Emma Gleadhill who is a highly experienced speaker and parenting coach.

The themes were put together by the parental mental health committee following consultations and feedback from other parents and students. We do hope that you will support the live talks; there will be the opportunity to put forward your questions to Emma prior to the talk and also for a more interactive debate during the webinar itself. All talks will be available for 1 month afterwards should you not be able to make the webinar itself (however you will need to register in advance via the links below).

Talk 2: Letting go – acceptance – COVID losses.
• Acknowledging and facing up to loss.
• The first and second darts of suffering.
• Checking in with each other’s stories.
• How to explore, express, unpack revisited narratives of deficit and loss.
• Helping our children make meaning and find acceptance and abundance
