Wellington College is deeply saddened to learn the news of the untimely death of OW Seb Adeniran-Olule in a road traffic collision. Seb arrived at Wellington in the Lower Sixth in 2012 and had an outstanding Sixth Form career both academically and particularly on the rugby field. He was a hugely popular and inspirational figure within his House, the Hill, and the wider College community. The impact he made during a relatively brief period of time was huge and he will be remembered fondly and sorely missed by every student and member of staff who knew him.

After representing England rugby at Under 18 and 20 levels, and gaining a contract with Harlequins, he had a bright future in the professional game, and Wellington College can only echo the comments of Conor O’Shea, Harlequins Director of Rugby, who said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Seb’s family and friends at this difficult time. Seb was an incredible talent and had already represented England at under age level as well as making his senior debut for Quins at just 20.”

May he rest in peace.
