The Director of Admissions is always delighted to welcome visitors and prospective parents to the College and many opportunities are available for families to visit.  The different options: Visitors Days, Master’s Receptions and College Tours are outlined below, with links to the booking forms.

For 13+ entry from 2025 onwards, the closing date for registration is the end of June of Year 5; entry in 2024 at 13+ is still open via the Late Admissions Route.  Registration for 14+ entry in 2023 is open until the end of November and for 16+ entry in 2023, registration will close on Friday 23rd September.  Further details can be found on the Joining Wellington page.

Visitors Days

Visitors Days are the most popular way of visiting Wellington. These events take place on Saturday mornings at 10.30am and provide an easy and effective way of conducting a first visit to the College. After refreshments in Great School, the Master addresses visitors in our magnificent theatre with help from a pupil panel and senior staff. There is then an opportunity to tour the campus with a current pupil.  A light lunch will be available from 1.00pm for those that wish to stay.

If you would like to register for a Visitors Day, please select your preferred date below:

Saturday 8th October (*currently full)

Saturday 19th November (*currently full)

*Occasionally spaces become available one week before a Visitors Day, if you would like to be contacted, please complete this form.

In addition, we hold College Tour mornings on two Saturdays each year when families can book a timeslot between 9.30am and 12.00 noon to visit.  Following a 45 minute tour with one of our pupils, senior members of staff, including the Master, will be available to answer any questions you may have.

College Tour registration: Saturday 17th September

Master’s Receptions

Master’s Receptions are ideal for families who would like to meet the Master, James Dahl, in person and perhaps ask him some questions. There will be a small number of families joining each event for a group meeting in Great School followed by an individual 45 minute tour with a current pupil.  Your tour guide will answer any questions you may have regarding life as a pupil at Wellington. You will also have the opportunity to speak to members of staff after your tour if you have any further questions.

Dates and precise timings for Master’s Receptions in the next academic year, 2022/23 will be confirmed in September.  If you would like to register your interest to attend one of these events, please complete this form and further information will be sent to you early in September.

College Tours

College Tours are aimed at families who simply want a tour of Wellington and may have a few questions.

These will take place on 27th, 28th & 29th June, however, these events are currently full.  If you would like to be contacted if a place becomes available, please complete this form.

During term time, tours are available on most Mondays at 1.30pm and Fridays at 2.30pm.  The tour with one of our College Ambassadors (a current pupil) will last for 45 minutes and a member of the Admissions team will be able to answer questions after the tour.

Dates and precise timings for College Tours in the next academic year, 2022/23 will be confirmed in September.  If you would like to register your interest to book a College Tour, please complete this form and further information will be sent to you early in September.
