The Director of Admissions is always delighted to welcome visitors and prospective parents to the College and many opportunities are available for families to visit.  The different options: Visitors Days, Master’s Receptions and College Tours are outlined below, with links to the booking forms.

Please note: Registration for 16+ entry in 2022 is now closed and as we have received a large number of applications, it would be unfair to accept any late registrations.  13+ entry in 2024 is still open via the Late Admissions Route.  For 13+ entry from 2025 onwards, the closing date for registration is the end of June of Year 5.  Further details can be found on the Joining Wellington page.

Visitors Days

Visitors Days are the most popular way of visiting Wellington. These events take place on Saturday mornings at 10.30am and provide an easy and effective way of conducting a first visit to the College. After refreshments in Great School, the Master addresses visitors in our magnificent theatre with help from a pupil panel and senior staff. There is then an opportunity to tour the campus with a current pupil.  A light lunch will be available from 1.00pm for those that wish to stay.

If you would like to register for a Visitors Day, please select your preferred date below:

Visitors Day registration: Saturday 19th March (*currently full)

Visitors Day registration: Saturday 23rd April (*currently full)

On Saturday 11th June, we will be offering College Tours from 9.00am to 12.30pm with one of our pupilsAlthough there will be no formal presentation in the theatre, senior members of staff will be available to answer your questions, along with HMs and the Admissions Team.  You will also have the opportunity to see the school in day to day action.  Please click on this link to make a booking.

Master’s Receptions

Master’s Receptions are ideal for families who would like to meet the Master, James Dahl, in person and perhaps ask him some questions. There will be a small number of families joining each event for a group meeting in Great School followed by an individual tour with a current pupil. On Saturdays the event starts at 11.15am and tours are at 11.45am. On Tuesdays the event starts at 1.00pm and tours will be at 1.30pm. On Friday 4th February the event will start at 2.00pm with tours at 2.30pm. Tours will last for approximately 45 minutes and your tour guide will answer any questions you may have regarding life as a pupil at Wellington. You will also have the opportunity to speak to members of staff after your tour if you have any further questions.

Please click on the following link to make a booking for a Master’s Reception.  Under the heading Select Service please select your preferred date and scroll across on the calendar to the correct month, click on the relevant date and time, you will then be able to complete a booking form.  The following dates are available next term: Friday 4th February, Saturday 26th February and Tuesday 8th March.

College Tours

College Tours are aimed at families who simply want a tour of Wellington and may have a few questions. Tours are available on most Mondays at 1.30pm and Fridays at 2.30pm during term time.

The tour with one of our College Ambassadors (a current pupil) will last for 45 minutes and a member of the Admissions team will be able to answer questions after the tour.  Please click on the following link to make a booking for a College Tour in the Lent Term.
