The Admissions Department is always delighted to welcome visitors and prospective parents to the College, and there are a number of ways in which to organise a visit to Wellington. Slots fill up quickly, however, so parents are advised to book three to four months in advance to guarantee availability.

Virtual Visitors Day

If you would like to watch a recording of our live Virtual Visitors Day, please contact

We are so sorry that we are currently unable to welcome visitors to Wellington, but hope that the videos and images on the website will give a good indication of the beauty and atmosphere of the College.

During term time, the Director of Admissions is available for daily question and answer sessions. Additional live question and answer sessions with the Master and pupils will be hosted soon – please contact Admissions for more information.

Visiting Wellington College

Due to current government guidelines regarding COVID-19, we are, unfortunately, unable to welcome any visitors to the College. We very much hope that we will be able to re-open soon. Please fill in the form below and we will be in contact as soon as we know if it is possible to run our programme of planned Visitors Days for the Autumn. Please click here to express an interest in attending a Visitors Day .

Under normal circumstances Visitors Days are the most popular way of visiting Wellington. These events take place on Saturday mornings, seven times a year, and provide an easy and effective way of conducting a first visit to the College. After refreshments at 10.30am, the Master addresses visitors from 11am until 12noon with help from a pupil panel and senior staff. There is then an opportunity to tour the campus with a current pupil before lunch is served in the Dining Hall at 1pm.

In order to reserve a place, please complete the Book a Visitors Day form, a link to which can be found at the bottom of this page.

For families who are unable to attend a Visitors Day we offer Master’s Receptions, which are a mini version of our Visitors Days for 25 to 30 families. These are held on selected Saturday mornings or Tuesday afternoons. You will be given an overview of the admissions process and life at the College, followed by a group tour of the campus with a Lower Sixth College Ambassador and you will also have the opportunity to ask questions afterwards. Please contact the Admissions Department on +44 (0)1344 444013 or to arrange a visit.
