SPORTS CODE OF CONDUCT
The below is intended to outline commonly accepted behaviours for all those involved with sport at Wellington from pupils, staff, parents and spectators.
1. All behaviours should be underpinned by the College values of Respect, Integrity, Kindness, Responsibility and Courage
2. Encourage full effort and competitive but fair play and support and respect for everyone involved.
3. Encourage participation in sport for all it offers, such as, enjoyment, engagement, development & positive outcomes.
4. Maintain appropriate communication with all parties, including use of SOCS, face to face conversations and email where required. On this note, we ask that staff decisions on selection are supported and we ask that staff provide clear feedback to pupils should they not make a team they are aiming for.
Any issues concerning sport at Wellington College, please e-mail the Sport Department at sport@wellingtoncollege.org.uk, rather than individual coaches, unless it is on a purely administrative level.
