Full Boarding at Wellington College

Wellington College is proudly a full boarding school, with boarding at the centre of the student experience.

Our boarding model allows students to become fully immersed in College life — building strong friendships, engaging in a wide range of opportunities and developing independence within a supportive and structured environment.

While Wellington is a full boarding school, students are able to return home from after College commitments on Saturday until Sunday evening, providing an important balance between busy boarding life and time with family.

This approach allows students to enjoy the depth of experience, community and belonging that full boarding provides while maintaining strong connections with home.
