EDI at Wellington is led by Naima Charlier, our Director of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Social Responsibility. Naima is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, embedding EDI at the highest levels of decision-making. She is supported by the EDI Advisory Group, that meets termly to oversee an ambitious programme of change. The EDI Advisory Group brings together Wellington governors, staff, students and alumni from across the College and Wellington Prep.
Student groups such as PrideSoc, CulturalSoc, FemSoc and MenSpeak provide spaces for students to raise awareness of issues, share experiences and celebrate diversity of thought and experience. We also have a student-led central EDI Committee, and two student Inclusion Ambassadors appointed within each house. The Inclusion Ambassadors help to create a culture of belonging in their house, connecting students across year groups and interests.

“Inclusion Ambassadors work in each house - supporting everyone to create a true sense of belonging. We are also there to give you someone to contact if you feel that something more can be done on EDI at Wellington.”
