On Friday, 13th March 2026, the Dance Department once again hosted one of the highlights of the Lent term, the much-anticipated Curriculum Dance Showcase. This year’s event saw students from Years 9 to 13 take to the stage in a vibrant celebration of dance as both an academic discipline and an expressive art form.
From powerful solos to dynamic group pieces, the evening was filled with moments of athleticism, creativity, and artistry. Impressive choreography, striking flexibility, and confident performances reflected the hard work and commitment of every dancer involved.
What truly set the evening apart was the strong sense of community, with students supporting one another both on and off stage. The showcase remains a testament to the energy, talent, and collaborative spirit of Wellington College’s dance community.
