We are delighted to welcome distinguished pianist, Sergio DeSimone to Wellington to offer 30 minute one to one sessions with a select group of piano pupils. Sergio is an internationally renowned pianist having performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Romanian State Orchestra, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto and Meadows Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. Since 2000, Sergio has been the ‘pianist in residence’ at the Chigiana Academy in Siena for the Composition Summer course given by Azio Corghi and Giorgio Battistelli and the Film Music Course given by Academy Award winner Luis Bacalov. Sergio is currently working as the Head of Piano and Keyboard Instruments at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. We are very much looking forward to welcoming Sergio to Wellington and seeing him work with our pupils.
