The final week of Lent Term at Wellington is a time that truly captures the effervescent spirit described in the Tatler review -this is a place to live as well as to study!
One such highlight is the Wellington Street Crew Battle –completely student-led and bursting with energy, this year’s event was yet another unforgettable celebration of rhythm, movement, and community spirit. With beats booming across South Front South Front, typically the backdrop for CCF and callover, was buzzing with a fresh energy as student crews took to the stage, lighting it up with passion, creativity, and flair. From slick synchronisation to fearless solos, every performance had the audience captivated and reminded us why this event remains such a firm favourite in the Wellington calendar.
But what makes the Street Crew Battle so special isn’t just the incredible talent on display. It’s the way it brings our community together. Events like this shine a light on what makes Wellington College so unique – students coming together to celebrate their passions, support one another, and create something brilliant, together.
Well done to the Blue Team, who claimed the win this year and most of all, to the pupils who organised the event!
