The closing days of Lent Term at Wellington are always filled with moments that reflect the College’s unique energy, and this year’s Street Crew Dance Battle was no exception.
This year, the event found a new home in the Cultural Living Room, transforming the space into a vibrant arena of music and movement. Crews brought their very best, delivering performances defined by precision, originality and confidence. From tightly synchronised routines to bold, expressive solos, each group commanded the space, earning huge support from an enthusiastic crowd. The new setting heightened the atmosphere, creating an immersive experience that captivated the audience from start to finish.
Beyond the performances themselves, the Street Crew Dance Battle remains a powerful reflection of what makes Wellington so distinctive. Entirely student-driven, the event showcases not only talent, but leadership, collaboration and a shared passion for the arts. It is moments like these that bring the community together and leave a lasting impression long after the final performance.
Congratulations to all who took part, and especially to the Red Team, led by Mimi and Zeynap, on a well-deserved victory.
