The third annual Berkshire Independent Schools Dance Festival took place on Wednesday 8 May. Five schools descended upon the GWA stage to compete in jazz, contemporary/lyrical and commercial/street genres. It was an awe-inspiring evening of dance which saw all pupils supporting each other with positivity and professionalism. Some highlights included some breathtaking, emotional and skilful contemporary solos and duets, plus some wonderfully uplifting street and commercial groups that demonstrated incredible teamwork and musicality. It was a truly inspiring event which looks to return next year with more schools, so watch this space!
