The Wellington Community are invited to hear Ben Fogle talk about his new book. Part memoir, part thrilling adventure, Ben’s account of his ascent to the roof of the world is told with their signature humour and warmth, as well as with profound compassion.
Ben is a broadcaster, traveller and adventurer. He has rowed the Atlantic Ocean, crossed Antarctica on foot, run across the Sahara and crossed the Empty Quarter on camel. He has presented numerous hit programmes on the BBC, ITV and Channel 5 including, New Lives in the Wild, Extreme Dreams and Through Hell and High Water. He writes regularly for the Sunday Telegraph and has written six Sunday Times bestseller books.
There will be the opportunity to purchase the book at the event.
