“It happened on a Tuesday, which is surprising!” Lane End School finds itself in chaos as two parallel universes collide on a Tuesday afternoon. A huge tear rips across the sky at lunchtime, wrenching staff and students off the playground and up into the clouds. Those who manage to reach safety inside the school discover that something even stranger is happening. Not only have they lost people but suddenly there are students who they have never seen before – people who claim to have fallen from the sky… Confusion reigns as ‘Us’ and ‘Them’ try to work out what is going on.
