Teaching and learning at Wellington are brought to life in the latest film in our #OurWellington series. Told through the experiences of the people who live and breathe the College every day, the film offers an authentic and thoughtful insight into what it means to educate at Wellington. We hear from Emmie Bidston, HM of the Elizabeth and Teacher of Economics; Jamie Lowry, Strength and Conditioning Coach; Erynn Oliver, Teacher of English; Tim Rothwell, Director of Higher Education and Teacher of Geography; and Sam Wilson, HM of the Hopetoun and Teacher of DET. They reflect on their individual journeys to the College and the experiences that shape their lives here. Through a series of individual stories, the film explores the many dimensions of an educator’s role, from academic teaching and pastoral care to co-curricular involvement and life within the wider College community. It reveals the personalities, interests and real-world experiences that colleagues bring to their work, showing what makes a Wellington education distinctive.
