Yesterday, Lola, Noa, Dan, Jo and Inigo spearheaded a spirited battle between teachers and students in the annual Teacher vs Student Olympics. Held as part of the Welly Leaders Project, the event aimed to raise awareness for the Stroke Association charity.

The competition was fierce, with four teacher teams facing off against one student team comprised of Deputy Heads of College. After a series of thrilling contests, it was the yellow team of teachers who emerged victorious, much to the disappointment of the student participants.

The diverse line-up of events included classic challenges like welly wanging, egg and spoon races, egg catch and throw, as well as the precision-demanding crossbar challenge. Adding a touch of whimsy, participants also engaged in musical chairs and a lively fancy dress relay.

Despite the outcome, the event was a resounding success, not only in fostering camaraderie between students and teachers but also in raising awareness of a worthy cause.

Congratulations to the team of Welly Leaders for organising such a great event! We look forward to seeing our teachers go for the double next year!
