When our U6th form pupil Khadeejah is not scoring top marks in her IB she is making waves as an award-winning social activist. Khadeejah has set up a series of unmissable events surrounding the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

@tz_rising presents Reframed + Understand

Over the past couple of weeks the world has been left shocked in the aftermath of the unjust murders of black individuals like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain and countless others. As I am sure you know, these sparked protests across the world, causing the resurgence of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

Not only has this meant we are slowly acknowledging the institutionalised injustices in society, but also the need to educate ourselves to strive for a more equal society.

As a result, Khadeejah has been working with a charity (@tz_rising) to deliver a 4-part zoom workshop series to help educate on racism, the BLM movement and what YOU can do!

Don’t miss these incredible inspiring speakers, including recent Old Wellingtonians like Khadeejah.
