Rackets at Wellington

This weeks team of the week goes to the girls junior squash team who put in an incredibly gutsy performance, with many playing their first match, where there were some fantastic rallies and the team won overall.

This weeks team of the week is Rugby 1st XV, for an all round team performance that saw them finish 36-0 winners against Millfield, made even more special as they have not beaten them since 2019.

The netball 1st VII are TOTW, following a last quarter come back, from 4 down, to win by 3, against Gordons, who finished one place higher at last years Nationals and it was a great game of netball!

This weeks' team of the week, the U14A netball team, following their 41-31 win, as they got their Cup campaign off to a brilliant start with a strong win. The boys put in a fantastic performance last week against last year's national champions. It was a gritty performance in defence epitomised by the tackling of Wilbur (Pn) and Raffi (L). In attack the players produced tempo and fluidity that led to a Mofe (S) hattrick.

Well done to this week's Team of the week, the Girls U14C Hockey team, who had a sensational win after only one session of practice, but achieved a commanding 4-0 win! The girls came together with impeccable teamwork and with 12 players, most pushed through a whole game.
