Bits from the Bard

Tuesday 24 January saw the inaugural Third Form curriculum showcase come to fruition in the Christopher Lee Theatre, packed with excited parents, pupils and staff. Every Third Form pupil who elected to do drama was given an opportunity to showcase their classwork – and 96 pupils took to the stage in ‘Bits from the Bard’ – a selection of Shakespeare’s scenes from The Tempest, Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors. Pupils were indeed nervous backstage, but on stage they showed no fear as they delivered Shakespeare’s verse with confidence and understanding. Well done to all involved!
