The U16 boys put up a valiant effort at the Lee Valley Hockey Centre for the Tier 1 Finals, capping off another remarkable season for the team. Despite falling short in the semi-final against a formidable St Georges side, who ultimately clinched the championship, the boys displayed commendable spirit and sportsmanship throughout.

In a tightly contested battle for 3rd place against King’s Chester, the team narrowly missed out, succumbing to a 1-0 defeat. Nevertheless, their performance showcased their resilience and determination on the pitch.

Throughout the season, the boys exhibited outstanding teamwork and fostered a strong team culture, which undoubtedly contributed to their success. Their dedication and hard work have rightfully earned them a respectable 4th place nationally at Tier 1 level.

A special acknowledgment goes out to each member of the team for their unwavering commitment and effort. Their achievement is a testament to their talent and dedication to the sport. With many of the players having experienced two national finals, there’s great anticipation for how this invaluable experience will shape the team’s future endeavours.
