The CPT x GOSH Family Inspire Day returned to Wellington College this summer, bringing together families, students, staff and supporters for another unforgettable day of fun, friendship and community.

This year’s event welcomed children and families from the CPT and Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), alongside Wellington students, staff and volunteers, who worked together to create a warm and inclusive environment for all.

It was no surprise to see Old Wellingtonians and CPT founders David Lofthouse and Jasper Kirkby make a return visit this year. With football, tennis, inflatables, water fights, face painting, a street food barbecue and, of course, the ever-popular Mr Whippy ice cream van all on offer, there was plenty to tempt them back for another Inspire Day.

The day was packed with exciting activities, with guests enjoying everything from sport and creative workshops to outdoor games and inflatables. Throughout the afternoon, the Wellington community came together to ensure every child and family could enjoy a memorable experience, creating countless smiles and lasting memories along the way.

The Inspire Day remains a powerful celebration of the long-standing relationship between Wellington College, CPT and Great Ormond Street Hospital. It showcases the impact that can be achieved when communities come together with a shared commitment to inclusion, friendship and support.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, organised activities and supported the day. Your enthusiasm, generosity and energy helped make the 2026 CPT x GOSH Family Inspire Day another outstanding success.

From September 2026, the CPT will be launched as part of the Global Citizenship Programme, allowing all Wellington students to apply and be part of this brilliant initiative. It will also undergo an exciting rebrand, but the partnership with Great Ormond Street and the DNA of this student-led initiative and community will remain as strong as ever.
