Georgia H and Georgia T delivered the standout moment of an outstanding week of Rackets at the National Schools Championships, held at the iconic Queen’s Club from 6–13 December, lifting the Robin Geffen Cup to become Senior Doubles National Champions with an outstanding match in the final, winning 18-14, 15-4, 15-6!

Their success came after a week of high-quality competition, building towards two finals days on 12 and 13 December, and showcased exceptional teamwork, composure and consistency on one of the sport’s most prestigious stages.

Alongside this headline achievement, Wellington College is incredibly proud of the eight pupils who progressed to the final stages of the championships: Will F, Olli J, Georgia H, Georgia T, Charlie T, Zaara N, Tabs B and Frankie L.

Each represented the College with distinction and a special mention goes to Will F, who produced a brilliant, gutsy performance in the U16 Incledon-Webber Cup, reaching the semi-final and coming within a single point of a place in the final, holding match point in a tightly contested encounter. It was a performance full of promise and one that bodes well for the future.

Wellington College is immensely proud of all our pupils for their commitment and achievements during an exceptional week of national rackets competition at Queen’s Club.
